Travis Audubon Society is hosting a FREE “Swift Night Out” event fashioned after their famed purple martin parties. This Friday, September 13, anyone interested in witnessing the return of the chimney swifts to their roost is invited to come out to the JJ Pickle campus. No registration is required. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket, snacks, and water, to enjoy watching the birds dive into their chimney home for the night. Full details are provided here.
