“What’s That Bird? Discover Merlin Bird ID,” Cornell Lab of Ornithology

If you haven’t tried to use the free Merlin app, or you don’t know all of its features, this FREE one-hour webcast is for you! Three of the app’s developers will give an overview of how they built this tool. The Merlin Bird ID app is now the most advanced tool you can use to identify birds in your environment. You can upload photos or record bird songs and, based on your location, the app will generate the birds that most closely match your upload. You can even provide feedback that says, “Yes, this is what I saw!” or “No, it doesn’t match,” and those data are used to help refine the app’s identification algorithms.
