“Is the Fall Monarch Butterfly Migration Threatened by Environmental Stress Induced by Contemporary Urbanization?”, National Wildlife Federation

Dr. Patrick Guerra, a Sensory Biologist from the University of Cincinnati Department of Biological Sciences, will provide an overview of how monarchs use sensory cues to orient themselves during migration. You will also learn about how sensory noise pollution from urbanization can hamper the development, calibration, and use of the time-compensated sun compass in monarchs. There is a $7 non-refundable fee to register for this online event. Registration is via EventBrite, here.
