“Bugs! Native Pollinators and Monarch Conservation,” Texas Botanical Gardens and Native American Interpretive Center

Dr. Adam Mitchell of Tarleton State University will talk about native butterflies, bumblebees, and other pollinators, their importance to our survival, and what we can do to protect them.  He will focus on Monarch butterflies, which the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is reviewing for possible identification as endangered. There is a $5/person fee for this talk, which includes hands-on experiences for participants.
