Habitat Restoration at Pedernales Falls State Park

Stephen Garmon, who is the Park Interpreter and Volunteer Coordinator at Pedernales Falls State Park, will present “Habitat Restoration at Pedernales Falls State Park” to members and guests of the Highland Lakes Birding and Wildflower Society (HLBWS) on Thursday, March 2, at 10 a.m. He will discuss the seeming paradox of having to tear down hundreds of acres of forest for the purpose of restoring natural habitat. The meeting will be held at the AgriLife Extension Service building, 607 N. Vandeveer, in Burnet. It is open to the public.
