The winner of this year’s Victor Emanuel Conservation Award has been announced and a special online-only celebration will be held on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021. The virtual lobby opens at 6:00 p.m. and features a silent auction, entertainment, and socializing. At 6:30 p.m., the celebration gets underway with a video tribute to this year’s posthumous award winner, Greg Lasley, followed by remarks from friends and leaders in conservation. Mr. Lasley made many lasting and significant contributions to the conservation of nature, and served as a speaker at HLBWS meetings on multiple occasions.
