“Up Close with Cranes,” Virtual Seminar by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension

There is a $15 registration fee for this online event. Participants will hear from four experts on cranes: Dr. Liz Smith, Sara Zimorski, Emily Wells and Dr. Dave Baasch. These experts will share information about the conservation of, and current research about, the United States' two native crane species, the whooping crane and the sandhill crane. [As an interesting side note, just this week there have been reports of migrating sandhills flying over the Highland Lakes area.] For full details and the link to registration, please visit this page on the AgriLife Extension website.
