Travis Audubon, “Common Insects of Texas”

This Zoom class is the first of a 4-part class to be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings, beginning on July 19 at 7 p.m. The remaining dates are July 21, 26, and 28. John and Kendra Abbott will provide an introduction to entomology with special focus on Texas and its fauna. The class will focus on life history information for different groups of insects, general morphological differences of groups, metamorphosis and development, how to recognize major groups of insects and specific species, and conclude with a discussion of current trends in insect decline.
