Casey Williams, who is an aquatic ecologist and plant ecologist for a private consulting firm, will talk about characteristics and adaptations of aquatic plants, why they are important, and the habitats which support them. Casey will highlight selected aquatic plant species found in Texas. Please note that a brief business meeting will take place at 7 p.m. and the presentation is immediately afterwards.
