“The Legend of Tecolote and Cenzontle,” Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

St. Elmo Arts Fellow Armando Cortes will tell stories about the significance of the Mockingbird and Owl in Mesoamerican history. Participants will make their very own clay whistles to mimic the birds’ calls. The whistles will requiring firing in a kiln and will be available on December 18 for participants to retrieve. All levels are welcome to attend this in person event at the Center. Please note: face masks are required, as is registration ($20/person). The link to register is found here.
