“The Blackland Prairie Across Time,” Collin Co. Ch., NPSOT

George Diggs, who is an evolutionary biologist and professor of botany, will present “The Blackland Prairie Across Time” to members and guests of the Collin County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas. He will discuss what and where the blackland prairie is, how it came to be, the nature of its soils, and the relationships of peoples past, present and future to the blackland prairie.
