TPWD Urban Biologist Sam Kieschnick will discuss dragonflies, their biology, importance in the ecosystem (do you like mosquitoes? Didn’t think so… so show some love for your friendly neighborhood dragonflies), and how they do what they do. Participants will learn about how to document these airborne predators and fill in some of the data gaps about their distribution. Sam will guide participants in some new and fun ways to appreciate these creatures while also contributing to dragonfly conservation and management.
