Travis Audubon Society is hosting a FREE online event featuring invited speaker Dr. C. Craig Farquhar (pronounced “Fawk-were”). He and Dr. Clint Boal authored the 2022 book, Raptors of Texas. Dr. Farquhar will discuss raptors in terms of their defining characteristics. He will zero in on raptors’ main anatomical and physiological adaptations, occurring over millions of years, that make raptors ideally built for predation.
