Interested individuals can still register here for an associated online-only event. ”Here a Sparrow, There a Sparrow: Identifying Those Little Brown Birds in the Weeds,” will be presented by Texas Nature Trackers wildlife biologist Craig Hensley. Participants will learn identification pointers based on Mr. Hensley’s lifelong love of these birds, including markings/coloration, flight and behavior. There will be a (fun) quiz at the end! Opportunities for Q & A will be provided at the end of the presentation. To close out the program, Byron Stone will call in with a report from the field with the morning sparrow and bird counts.
