“Small scale land restoration, creating a biodiverse ecosystem – a case study,” HLNPSOT

Following a 30-minute business meeting of the Highland Lakes Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas, NPSOT Executive Director Meg Inglis will talk about the long-term restoration of a 2-acre plot of land. She will discuss benefits of land restoration, specific plants to consider adding, and just as important, plants to remove, decisions to make about certain trees (e.g., ashe junipers and mesquites), and water and nutrient harvesting. The meeting is free and open to anyone interested in land restoration.
