There are two versions of Purple Martin (PUMA) Day! The single-day event costs $15 and runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3 p.m., and that includes lunch. The event includes educational seminars and hands-on bird banding experience. As of June 29, there were only 5 spaces left. The extended event costs $50 and includes dinner on the first day, some owling, bat mist netting, and early morning birding and lunch on the second day. The second day runs from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There were 11 spaces left for the extended event as of June 29.
