“Native Host Plants for Texas Moths,” Williamson Co. Ch., NPSOT

Master Naturalists Lynne and Jim Weber will present Native Host Plants for Texas Moths, based upon their book of the same name. Participants will learn about relationships that exist between certain native plants and the moths that use them, why native plants are essential to healthy ecosystems, the role of nectar and host plants, and how these insects find the desired host plant species upon which to lay their eggs.
