“Merlin Bird ID Trivia: North American Birds,” Cornell Lab of Ornithology

Learn more about bird identification and the Merlin Bird ID app by participating in a free, interactive trivia game. The app will be put to the test: Can it outperform an experienced birder or the live audience? Photos and sounds will be used to determine who can accurately identify the most North American bird species. Throughout the game, the experts will discuss how Merlin “decides” on an ID. Featured panelist Yousif Attia of Birds of Canada will share advice on how to identify tricky birds—plus, he’ll provide insights into birding during the Great Backyard Bird Count. Registration is required to participate in the trivia game via YouTube’s Live Stream.
