WELCOME to the first monthly meeting of the 2021-2022 program year! PLEASE NOTE: This meeting has changed to being an online meeting only via Zoom. There will be no in-person meeting and no pre-meeting bird walk. These decisions were made by the HLBWS Executive Board to protect members’ health and safety during the current public health situation.

Author S. Christopher Caran will present Westcave Preserve, an Outstanding Example of Environmental Protection by Local Communities and Non-Profit Organizations, to the Highland Lakes Birding & Wildflower Society (HLBWS) on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Informal social time will be provided beginning at about 9:30 a.m. The business portion of the meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the presentation will follow at about 10:45 a.m.
