Every Sunday in August (except for August 29th!) starting at 8:00 a.m. there is a guided bird tour of the Center. Guests can expect to see 30-50 different bird species with the expert guide’s assistance. Participants will travel by car and by foot to access as many areas of the park as possible. This tour is best suited for the birder age 15+ as it can last up to four hours, though participants can leave at any time. Participants should bring their own binoculars, bottles for water, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bug spray. Registration is required, here, and there is a $10 fee per person. Tours are limited to 10 participants, so it is best to purchase tickets well in advance!
