All around the world, on May 13, 2023, bird watchers will participate in a citizen scientist data collection effort called “Global Big Day,” which is also World Migratory Bird Day. Participation in this event is so easy! Create an eBird account if you do not already have one. (Don’t know how to use eBird? Here are step-by-step instructions that will help.) Then, on May 13, go out and enjoy some birdwatching, and record your observations in eBird. That’s all there is to it!
