Sam Kieschnick, an urban wildlife biologist with TPWD, will give a presentation about dragonflies. These sometimes delicate-looking insects are predators, providing natural mosquito control. Mr. Kieschnick will discuss dragonfly biology, the importance of dragonflies in the ecosystem, and how dragonflies do what they do. Participants will learn how to document their observations and potentially help to fill in some of the data gaps about dragonflies’ distribution. Registration is required for this FREE Zoom event.
