“Capturing Nature in Bronze,” Cross Timbers Chapter, NPSOT

Fort Worth sculptor Michael Pavlovsky will share the story of how he merged his love of plants with his love of art. Pavlovsky will illustrate how various types of plants in his own garden have influenced the style and character of his pieces. He also will outline the sculpting process that transforms clay into the finished bronze. Pavlovsky received a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Texas A&M University in 1982 and received a master of fine arts degree in sculpture in 1990 from the University of North Texas. Please note that the presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. and a brief business meeting will follow. Registration is required, here.
