“Naturalist’s Austin: Guide to the Plants and Animals of Central Texas,” Texas Center for the Book, TSLAC

  • Lorenzo de Zavala State Archives and Library Building (Public Events Space), Capitol Complex 1201 Brazos Street Austin, TX, 78701 United States (map)

Area naturalists Jim and Lynne Weber will discuss their latest book, Naturalist’s Austin: Guide to the Plants and Animals of Central Texas, at this FREE event. [HLBWS members may recall that the Webers addressed our organization in February 2024, in an outstanding Zoom meeting, about host plants for Texas moths and butterflies.] Naturalist’s Austin will not be available for purchase at the event, but can be pre-purchased at a discount for the Webers’ signatures at the conclusion of the presentation. Participants are advised to arrive a good 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in at the front desk. Registration is required, here. For complete details about parking (you will likely have to pay for parking), directions, etc., please check out this page.
