“Black-capped Vireo (Vireo atricapilla) Monitoring: Supporting the Post-delisting Monitoring Plan,” TPWD

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is hosting this online event. Dr. Jim Giocomo, who is the Central Region Director at the American Bird Conservancy, will talk about the agreement among a group of conservation partners to assess abundance and productivity of the Black-capped Vireo after it was delisted as endangered. The monitoring is taking place annually for a period of 12 years to ensure that identified threats do not impact the long-term survival of these songbirds. Dr. Giacomo will review the results of the first several years of post-delisting monitoring. Find the form to register for this WebEx event here.
