In October, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and Travis Audubon is hosting two bird/nature walks because of heavy bird migration. This is the second one. The first was on the regularly scheduled date of October 12. Registration is required and the fee to participate is $15/adult or $8/youth ages 5-17 (must be accompanied by an adult). You will have the opportunity to see both native and migratory birds and the native plants they rely on for food and shelter. Dress appropriately for the outdoors and bring binoculars to better see the birds.
