Bring your binoculars to Inks Lake State Park and learn more about identifying birds by shape, color, song and behavior. This is a seated activity at a wheelchair-accessible bird blind. The blind is located 3 miles down Park Road 4 or it can be accessed via a 2-mile hike from the Devil’s Backbone Nature Trail. Participants must pay for a day pass reservation to enter the park. No pets are allowed at the blind and the events are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Participants can receive the gate code either upon arrival at the park’s headquarters, or by calling 512/793-2223. Learn more by visiting the Inks Lake State Park Events page on Facebook.
